Child-Centered Therapy

Play Therapy:  Members as young as five years old can benefit from this modality.  Children with internal struggles or emotional challenges will receive support in their primary language, play.

School-Based Support:  Members can receive support in their environment by collaborating, observing, and providing services in their school, which will enhance the social and academic background.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): Members of this program can start at age 9 through adulthood.  DBT is a cognitive behavioral treatment that was initially developed to treat chronically suicidal individuals diagnosed with a borderline personality disorder (BPD) but is now used for a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.  Specific challenges may include substance dependence, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and eating disorders.

Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP):  Members of this program are between the ages of 5-18 years old.  The MAP system is not a single treatment model. Instead, it involves several decisions and practices support tools to assist in the selection, review, adaptation, or construction of promising treatments to match particular child characteristics based on the latest scientific findings.  WOW focuses on anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, and trauma.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): Members of this program are between the ages of 4-18 years old.  TF-CBT is a conjoint child and parent psychotherapy approach for children and adolescents who are experiencing significant emotional and behavioral difficulties related to traumatic life events.  Children and parents learn new skills to help manage thoughts and feelings associated with this process.
